2012 Super bowl Giants V.S. Patriots rematch
In the 2012 super bowl the New York Giants will be facing the New England Patriots in a rematch of the 2008 super bowl with the Giants coming out on top 17-14. This year the same teams are going to be matched up against each other. The Giants had to get through the Dallas Cowboys the GreenBay Packers and the SanFransico 49ers to make to back to the super bowl. The Patriots had to go through the Denver Broncos and the Baltimore Ravens to get back to the superbowl. The Patriots ended the season with a 13 and 3 record and the Giants ended the season with a record of 9 and 7. Both of these teams have star quarterbacks that have been in the same situation before. They both know how much this game means to them and what is at stake. The Giants average 24.6 points a game and 385.1 yards and 295.9 pass yards and 89.2 rush yards per game. On the other hand the Patriots average 32.1 points per game and 428 yards per game with 317.8 pass yards and 110.2 rushing yards a game. Tom Brady has only thrown 4 picks, he has 39 touchdowns and a completion percentage of 65.6 in the regular season. Eli Manning has 16 picks, he has 29 touchdowns and a completion percentage of 61 in the regular season.
